1. Students will continue to work on their LOGO projects.
2. Students will learn about vector-based images and compare and contrast them to bitmap images by creating and scaling the two types of images.

Language Objective(s):
1. Students can identify a vector image from a bitmap image.

Illustration Guidelines:
1. Define Paths around any lines or color changes you may see.
2. ADD to your PATHS, by clicking on your Main Path
3. As a rule of thumb, start with the MAJOR paths first. (i.e. if you are illustrating someone's face, start with his or her base skin)
4. For each CLOSED path, fill with a sampled color from the region.

Students will learn what it entails to become a professional Graphic designer
Students will practice photoshop

Warm Up:
1. What is the name of the company you are creating your logo for?
2. What services or products does this company offer?
3. What ideas do you have for a logo for this company?
4. What do you know about Graphic Designers?
a. How do they enter the field of professional graphic design?
b. How much do you think they make or get paid?
c. Would you be interested in a graphic design career of any kind (full time ~40 hours a week or part time less than 40 hours a week)?
d. List the skills you have as a graphic designer. (What can you create with Photoshop after the last few months in Mr. Aguda's class)

Startup Activity: (30 mins)
1. Get with your group. On photoshop, Create a Postcard or "Flyer Party Card" (5.5" x 4.25" 300 dpi) for your creative team.

2. In your design, include the following:

- come up with a Creative Team name (must be appropriate)

- Profiles of each member of your creative team. (Include name and pic if you can)

(This means: describe each member of your creative team, what are their strengths? What are they good at? What's their favorite color? What's their favorite band? etc.)

- A list of services that your team offers (i.e. Webdesign, graphic design, layout, etc.)

How to do this:

Split up your team and each person work on a portion of the design.

Digital Zen: (10 minutes)
1. Think of 1 Memorable event that you experienced during the break and reflect on it. What was so memorable about it? Who was there? What was it like? What were the smells? What were the flavors (food)? What made you want to stay in that moment?
-- You can't think of a moment that was memorable? Just describe in 1 paragraph what you did this past week on your vacation and try to make it sound interesting.

2. Insert 1 or 2 pictures that relate to your experience during this spring break.
