Objectives:

1. Mini project: Create a Christmas card using monochromatic and analagous color schemes
2. Change picture color schemes using Gradient mapping

PROJECT: CREATE A CHRISTMAS CARD BASED ON A COLOR SCHEME
Create 2 compositions for the inside and the outside of Card.

Landscape cards: 5.5" x 4.25" (300 dpi)
Portrait cards: 4.25" x 5.5" (300 dpi)

Outside picture: (Save as - ChristmasCardFront.jpg)
1. Choose a color scheme: Triadic, Complimentary, or Analagous. (You can use any of the non-colors as well!)
2. Use a LARGE photograph from internet
3. LARGE greeting with appropriate font
4. Include a smaller text with a tag line and use an appropriate font.
5. Use a asymetrical layout scheme.

Inside Picture (Save as - ChristmasCardBack.jpg)
1. Use a MONOCHROMATIC color scheme.
2. Use a LARGE photograph from internet
3. Include small text (poem, bible verse, saying, note, etc.) with an appropriate font.
4. Use a symmetrical layout scheme.

Guidelines and Hints for both pictures:
1. Text should be readable
2. Use LARGE or EXTRA LARGE PICS and CROP the PICTURE APPROPRIATELY
3. Don't use more than 2 fonts TOTAL in the entire project
4. Remember to K.I.S.S. = Keep it simple, student. (stupid)

Use MS Publisher to place both pictures. (Save as: ChristmasCard.pub)

Print the file using the COLOR PRINTER.
Email the jpg files (Please don't email me your PUB file) to Mr. Aguda (mragudap5@animojustice.com)
Post both front and inside photo onto your blog.
